I grew up in Bolton, Ontario, and moved to the Comox Valley with my family to be closer to the mountains and the ocean. I graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor’s in Human Kinetics and a minor in Neuroscience, then went on to complete my Master’s in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University. Since graduating, I’ve completed the Advanced Diploma of Manual and Manipulative Therapy portion in the Graduate Certificate in Orthopaedic Manipulative Physiotherapy (GCOMPT) program at UBC and became a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy (FCAMPT) in 2021.
I’ve always wanted to work in a medical field that combined my love for science with helping people who need it most. Physiotherapy was a natural fit as it applies movement and exercise in a way that empowers people to recover and move better. Growing up, I played multiple sports including soccer, skiing, and mountain biking, and like many athletes, I dealt with my share of injuries. Working with physiotherapists during those times was inspiring—their ability to help me heal and return to the activities I love had a lasting impact on my life.
I also provide professional physiotherapy guided bike fits, combining my clinical background with my personal passion for cycling. I decided to start doing bike fits after realizing how many cyclists experience discomfort or recurring injuries simply because their setup isn’t optimized for their body. I enjoy helping riders feel more comfortable, efficient, and confident on their bikes—whether they’re chasing performance goals or just want to enjoy their rides pain-free.
I’m passionate about ongoing education and hope to teach in the future. Outside of work, I’m usually staying active—hiking, climbing, mountain biking, skiing or playing beach volleyball.
